Drake’s Drizzmas Giveaway: What Happened in his Stake Sponsored Kick Stream with Adin Ross?

Superstar rapper, songwriter, singer, and actor Drake participated in a very successful stream a month or so ago when he paired up with streamer XQC. The pair, sponsored by the video streaming platform Kick and online gambling platform Stake, played slots together and shared some important news about their upcoming ventures. Those who believed that the star music artist was done with major streams were wrong because he did it again. This time around, it was a special winter holiday-themed stream called Drizzmas Giveaway. To spread some holiday cheer and make dreams come true for some of his fans, Drizzy paired up with another big streamer Adin Ross, and delivered a 6-hour long stream on his own Kick.com page.

During the stream, among other things, he surprised many of his fans, who sent in letters as tickets into giveaways. Drake then opened the letters on stream and read some of them, revealing what the fans wrote to explain their situation and why they were the right people for one of the awards. From money and dream vacations to cars, Drake and Adin were in a very giving mood. In this article, we go deeper into the stream and analyze what was said and which people got what awards. It is amazing to see that stars from different industries, sponsored by Stake.com and live on Kick, can make their fans’ wishes come true for Christmas and New Year.

What Were the Awards?

Before the stream started, on December 24, it was revealed what some of the giveaway prizes at the Stake Drizzmas Giveaway stream event were going to be. Drake and Adin promised to gift one couple a dream vacation, a trip for two to see Drake perform live in Australia, $250,000 for two people, 1 year’s worth of rent for a family, $100,000 for a Toronto artist, and 3 cars for 3 different families. Also, they promised to give away a Lamborghini or a Mercedes G-Wagon. So did he deliver on the promise?

Yes, he did, and then some. Some of the lucky contestants got more than they ever asked for, especially those whose stories were near and dear to Drake or those who have had it especially rough recently. Adin was generous as well, as he gave some of his money to some of the contestants on top of what Drake promised them. The pair therefore held a very successful stream where they helped change the lives of multiple people exactly how they needed. All of the winners were brought in live to the stream and got a chance to talk to the streamers.

Who Won the Awards?

The first person to get their prize, a dream vacation, was a woman named Ashley. A mother who recently lost her newborn son mere hours after he was born, asked for a dream vacation for herself, her husband, and their three-year-old son. She was beyond herself, shocked and amazed that it was happening to them, and could not make up her mind about the destination, which Drake said was fine. They will get their dream vacay no matter where and when it is.

The second dream vacation was for a recently married couple, Jordan and Connor, whose wish was to spend their honeymoon at Disney World. They were not able to afford it and have therefore entered the giveaway. Drake told them it was fine if they wanted to change their destination now that they had indeed won a free destination. The third and final trip was for a Canadian family where Sean wanted to take his father, wife, and son to tour their country. It was his mom’s dream to do so, but she never got to do it before her recent death. Now, they get to honor her in an amazing way and spread her ashes on the road.

Drake and Ross then moved on to the free tickets for two people to see the singers at one of his Australia shows. The winner was Scott who is a huge Drake fan, who will be bringing his best friend Junior. Both of them are huge fans, as well as fellow Canadians, and all of their expenses will be covered including flights, hotels, and some spending money. Drizzy also promised them backstage access and a meetup with him at whichever destination they decided on. Is there a better prize for true fans of a music artist?

A particularly touching prize went to a Chicago firefighter and his family. It brought Ryan, the father of three, to tears. Except for the car to make their lives easier, he also gave him $25,000 to help him out in his struggles. Speaking of cars, Karina, a mother of three who was left without a car when she gave hers to her father in Mexico, got a new one. Drake went a step further, saying, “We might send a car to your dad and then I’ll give you your own car.” It seemed like he said he was going to give her one of his own cars from his very rich car collection. The third and final family car went to Kelsey, who entered the giveaway for his older pregnant sister. For this family, Adin and Drake went further as each gave them $40,000.

With one of the more valuable car prizes, the Mercedes G-Wagon, the 5-time Grammy Award winner surprised Aniya, a girl who claimed her ex-boyfriend cheated on her “7,000 times”. His dream car was a Mercedes SUV, and now she got exactly what he always wanted. Drake said that Adin was personally going to deliver the car. For one Austrian guy, Martin, who was woken up by a sudden call from the streamers, they paid a year’s worth of rent and promised extra money for house renovations. His family home recently flooded and there was a lot of property damage, which is why he entered the stream giveaway.

Annam whose father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, got the $250,000 prize. Her mother and brother moved away to look after her grandmother sot he whole family situation is tough on everyone. This prize money will surely help all of them, including the two family members who need the most care and attention right now. Another person’s life is not better following Drizzmas. Abram got a better living situation and $50,000 of bonus money to turn his life around. He is a college dropout whose family suffered health issues because their apartment had mice and mold. This will surely help them and he can go back to his studies without worry.

Shanessa, a mother and a medical student who is currently struggling with debt, got $250,000 to help her get back on track. Notice that this is another major prize money reward, as the singer and streamer went more generous than what was originally planned. One of the awards that seemed to hit the closest to Drake’s own situation in life was a struggling United Kingdom music artist, Nathaniel. He showed his home studio to Drake and was ecstatic to talk to his idol. As a reward, he got $20,000 towards his career as well as a year’s worth of rent for himself and his mom. Drake talked about how vividly he remembers the struggles of up-and-coming artists looking to make it.

What Else Happened During the Stream?

While the donations and helping others were the most impactful things that happened in the stream, Adin Ross and The 6 God talked about many other things. First and foremost, they revealed that they have another major stream in mind on Kick.com as Adin is planning his comeback. He has been absent for months and the fans have been begging him to come back. Now, he plans to do just that, and he asked Drake to be a part of it. He was quite direct with it too, asking if they could do it in the form of a sleepover at Drake’s lavish Toronto mansion called The Embassy. The music star immediately agreed, so the fans have that to look forward to. It is going to happen in about a week, meaning the first week of January 2025.

The star and his streamer co-host also talked about other celebrities, mainly singers. Drake showed support for Tory Lanez calling for his fellow Canadian’s freedom after his sentencing in the Megan Thee Stallion case. He also namedropped Young Thug and how happy he was for his colleague’s legal battle to be over. He said, “I can’t wait until Thug drops. Drake and Thugger, of course. W Thug, welcome home!” Positive vibes all around, he also mentioned Sexxy Red, Playboi Carti, and other singers.

Drake is no stranger to big streams as he frequently shares his Stake.com gambling sessions on the platform. This time around, the event got more than 180,000 viewers in the first hour, which is a major milestone for a giveback moment in the world of online streaming. The singer showed his appreciative side, thanking fans, wishing everyone well, and sending some positive thoughts and reflections into the world. And that is on top of the free gifts that will change the lives of some two dozen people.

He talked about his upcoming Anita Max Win Tour in Australia, which is starting on February 9, and revealed his new cologne, teasing its drop on the stream. During the hyped-up talk about his tour of Melbourn, Sydney, and other major Aussie cities, he also showcased his new custom chain. He unveiled the multi-colored diamond chain in the shape of the tour’s mascot. It is of course a one-of-one and Adin Ross got to wear it. The pair had shots, drank cocktails, and played some slots in the background. Special guests also appeared, including comedian BenDaDonn.

Conclusion: A Successful Stream Worthy of a Sequel

All in all, it was a very successful stream backed up and hosted by great sponsors in Kick and Stake. The two platforms are doing great things with celebrity streams, evident by Drake’s previous XQC stream and Adin’s recent Donald Trump stream interview. And in January, we can expect Ross to come back to his favorite platform and once again stream with the superstar of rap and music in general. The Canadian artist is no stranger to great business deals and he has recognized the potential that his collaboration with Kick and Stream can offer fans, uniting the online gambling, gaming, and music industries into one hybrid that serves everyone.

As it was presented by Stake, it helped hype and fuel his upcoming Australian tour. The Anita Win Max Tour starts in February and tickets are already available so make sure to grab yours if you are a fan of his music. Australia is one of his favorite countries, and during the stream, he said how he realized that the world is huge while sitting on Bondi Beach with a drink in his hand, taking it all in years ago. His previous stream was actually when he revealed the tour for the first time, which means that these live events are now a huge part of his career. It is a great opportunity to engage with the fans, talk to them, bring special guests, and make some dreams come true. Streaming is huge right now and the best way to give back to the fans who made it all possible for him and other stars.

As for Adin, he had a great time and allowed his fans to learn of his comeback in the best way possible. He also shared parts of the stream on his YouTube where it already has plenty of views. He is present on most social media platforms and the stream with a celebrity of Drake’s level was nothing but positive for his career. After leaving Kick indefinitely during the summer, he announced plans to return at the very start of 2025, meaning he has big plans in the new year to get back to what he loves most.
