Currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Yale University, USA. Ilemobade integrates advanced business strategies with his extensive legal background. His  experience provides him with a comprehensive understanding of global maritime practices. This fusion of knowledge positions him to offer innovative, tailored solutions to companies within the maritime industry.

During his tenure at Abdulai, Taiwo & Co., a leading law firm in Nigeria, Ilemobade played a pivotal role in a $250 million dry port infrastructure project for the China Railway Construction Corporation Limited. He was instrumental in preparing the legal framework, conducting due diligence, and establishing a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the project. This experience not only honed his expertise in maritime infrastructure but also underscored his ability to manage complex international transactions. He thereafter worked at another leading law firm in Nigeria, Babalakin & Co.

Ilemobade boldly envisions establishing a consultancy firm specializing in providing bespoke advisory services to maritime businesses and government parastatals. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, best legal & business practices, his goal is to address complex industry challenges swiftly and effectively. He believes that integrating legal knowledge with industry-specific business strategies will foster enhanced global trade, shipping logistics and cooperation. According to Ilemobade “there’s a need to focus on harnessing the best possible result and optimization in the maritime industry by coming up with the key strategies to ensure the needed progress”.

His leadership extends beyond his professional endeavors. While an undergraduate at the University of Lagos, he served as President of The Maritime Forum, advocating for the adoption of new tools, methods and technologies to optimize maritime services and the inclusion of students participation in the maritime industry. His academic excellence laid a strong foundation for his future contributions to the maritime industry.
