The Chief Executive Officer of Beauty Secrets Med Spa who caters to the beauty needs of the Abuja’s crème de la crème with excellent body aesthetics and wellness services recently took newsmen on a brief media tour around her exquisitely furnished and well-equipped spa as part of events to mark nine years of her brand in the beauty industry.
Relishing the journey so far and how the brand has evolved, she notes, “Nothing good comes easy, So, over the years, we have constantly improved our professionalism, hygiene and ensuring that we keep to the ethics of the business. My main goal from the onset was to run an organisation, where when you walk in here, there wouldn’t be a drastic difference from what you would see in London, Paris and New York in terms of services, personnel or the products used. Over time, i have been able to replicate the quality and standards you see abroad here in Nigeri.”
Despite having to contend with the different challenges of doing business in Nigeria, Deborah Emmanuel-Omale said she strives to maintain high standards as well as retain customers by tailoring packages to meet their needs. Indeed, Beauty Secrets Med Spa’s team of aesthetic doctors and beauticians have earned a place in the heart of the capital city’s political and business elite, with Deborah Emmanuel-Omale, identifying customer satisfaction as her team’s raison d’être.
“Sometimes our clients come to us looking tired and stressed, but by the time they’re leaving, they look rejuvenated and beautiful again. This brings me so much joy,” she says.
Speaking on plans to give back to society, Deborah, who is married to popular Abuja pastor, Dr. Emmanuel Omale, said the first set of students at the recently opened Beauty Secrets Academy are being trained for free.
“Beyond running a profitable business and creating employment, the Lord spoke to me to sow a seed in the lives of our first set of students by enrolling them for free. They will be graduating in two weeks. They can look back and remember getting trained on skills through which they earn a good income at our academy without having to pay”, she says.
