Former Minister of Defence, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode SAN, has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State on his victory in the just-concluded governorship election.

Kayode described the outcome as a good omen for the people of Ondo State, expressing optimism about significant development across all sectors.

“This is a good omen for the people of Ondo State, as there will be tremendous development in all sectors. Our people expect this,” he said.

He also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for their effective adherence to constitutional guidelines during the election.

While congratulating the people of Ondo State for voting decisively for Governor Aiyedatiwa, Kayode stated that the election’s outcome reflected the true will of the people, validating the governor’s broad acceptability.

“The people of the state have made the right choice by voting for Aiyedatiwa, who is a round peg in a round hole,” he noted.

The former Attorney General of the Federation also assured citizens that the new governor would implement a Master Plan to drive the state’s rapid development.

“This plan will include impactful infrastructure development, complemented by strong support from the Federal Government. All true patriots must align with and support Governor Aiyedatiwa in this new enterprise,” Kayode concluded.
