PAP no more cash cow, Mayor of Urhoboland mocks critics of Utuaro, Tompolo

Akpodoro

In apparent mockery of those he described as self-acclaimed owners of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, the Mayor of Urhoboland, Eshanekpe Israel a.k.a Akpodoro has said critics are attacking Dr. Dennis Otuaro, Administrator of the PAP, due to his refusal to patronise them for award of contracts that would be abandoned, even when they’ve been paid in full.

Mayor Akpodoro, who spoke to newsmen over the weekend in Ughelli, Delta State, said also blackmailers of founder of Tantita Security Services Nig LTD, TSSNL; Chief Government Ekpemukpolo a.k.a Tompolo and Dr. Otuaro, were kicking due to hunger biting them because “feeding bottle has been removed from their mouth” by the current administration, through the appointment of the two capable men, who he noted, has refused to do the bidding of those who from inception had been clogs in the wheel of the programme and pipeline protection.

Reacting to a statement credited to one Jude Gbayobor on his verified Facebook account, where he thumbed down on the appointment of Dr. Otuaro and Tantita, Akpodoro said Gbayobor, who was formerly the Staff Officer, Data Management, in the PAP office in Abuja, has reasons to be bitter due to some reasons he wouldn’t want to go into now.

The ex-militant leader said, “Dr. Otuaro is running the agency efficiently well, so those lacking in character and good conscience may find it difficult to work with him.”

“The cries by the foot soldiers of oil thieves,” Akpodoro noted, “is loud among those whose financiers have been displaced by the TSSNL owned and managed by Tompolo in the creeks of the Niger Delta.”

He added that the surveillance security contract being executed by TSSNL has brought hardship to those, who relish in oil theft and their errand boys, “therefore, it won’t be out of place for their minions to rant on the social media.”

“While TSSNL is chasing them out of the creeks, PAP under Dr. Otuaro removed their hands off slush funds. Our advice to them is they should go and get a life in legitimate businesses and stop wheeling and dealing in crimes and criminalities.

“They should learn to embrace the realities of the Amnesty Programme. Otuaro is restoring hope and empowering communities in the region. It will always get better when the liabilities on the programme are removed as he is perfectly doing,” the Urhobo-born Mayor maintained.

He urged youths and persons of the Delta to rally round Dr. Otuaro for him to reposition the programme for the benefit of all concerned, adding that Chief Ekpemukpolo ‘GOC’ remains the undisputed champion of the Niger Delta struggle and should be so recognised and honoured by all.
