The former Vice-President and Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the last 2023 general elections, on Sunday arrived in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, where he sympathised with government and people of the state over the unfortunate flood disaster that has so far displaced two million people with several others killed and property worth billions of naira submerged.

The Wazirin Adamawa also donated N100 million to cushion the current hardship faced by victims who are taking refuge at various camps in the state.

While at the Government House, Maiduguri, Atiku extended his heartfelt condolences to Governor Babagana Zulum, the government and the people of the state, especially those who lost their beloved ones.
