Romelu Lukaku’s jersey number is still an unsettled issue as the club has now displayed a jersey with his name and number 11.

There were earlier reports of the newly recruited striker getting the number 9 jersey after Victor Osimhen was left out of Napoli’s squad for the season.

A recent post on the club’s X page shows a jersey with Lukaku’s name spotting the number 11, which is suspected to be a subtle response to the rumour or a backtrack on its earlier action.

Lukaku joined Napoli from Chelsea and is expected to lead the line for Antonio Conte’s side this season.

As per reports, Lukaku opting for number 11 is not in anyway related to the events playing out with Osimhen
