A real estate company, Seven30, weekend, restated commitment to relieving the effects of hardship resulting from lack of shelter in the country.
Managing Director of the firm, Dr Oluwole Fapohunda, who said this aligns with their objective, noted that amid the faltering economy, channeling resources into housing could be a wise investment in the long-term.
Fapohunda stated this in Ibadan during the launch of a low-cost housing estate named Oba Residence II in Ido, Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to him, the estate was incubated to mitigate the effects of the economic realities in the country and also to scale up with the ethos of the organisation which reads “customer centricity.”
He said: “We are here to officially launch this project, and many times one of the things we offer our clients, even before they buy into our project, is to give them enough information. Beyond buying from us, we are very deliberate about our customers making informed decisions.
“This property here is a CofO property. On our FAQs, we provide the coordinates and CofO number for you to verify before making an informed decision.”
In verifying the genuineness of the land, Oluwole shared his meeting with the Onido of Ido, the traditional ruler of the community. He said: “I have been in Ibadan for days now, and earlier this morning I was with the Onido of Ido, who happens to be the traditional ruler of this community. We went on a courtesy visit to let him know that we were the ones who bought land here and to get more information about the community.
“In fact, he made us know that the Ido community has 1,552 villages, and they have different Magajis and Baales. We were able to gain more insight into the history of the land and the community in general, including how it relates to the Olubadan of Ibadan. This further verifies that the land we are standing on is genuine.
“We might initially feel this place is far. The first day I came, I felt the same way. But the truth is, the concept of real estate is that you identify a place that is developing, you go there before it develops, and you own real estate in that place. This is one of the things that Seven30 is doing.
“Over time, some of you must have bought real estate before, but at Seven30, we hold your hand through the entire journey. You have not bought land from us that has any issues, and you are not going to.
“At Seven30, we have a good problem. We launch a property, and in a twinkle of an eye, it’s sold out. This week we have sold over 100 plots on this land, reinforcing the fact that people have seen a track record of integrity, product delivery, and quality delivery,” he concluded.
Among the property features are perimeter fencing, security gatehouse, road networks and corner piece allocation.
The estate faces an expressway making it easily accessible for potential homeowners; it was reported to be one of the most cost-friendly ones in the state.
