After successfully blessing lives with two captivating EPs, “Sunday Behaviour” and “Yo & Behold”, Yohanna Bako, better known as Dr. Yohan, is poised to leave an indelible mark in the Gospel music scene with his much-anticipated debut album, “Premium Praise Live”.

His journey from being a music director and arranger, a praise leader, a teacher of the word, and currently serving as a Youth Minister in his local church is a testament to Dr. Yohan’s commitment to his calling and assignment. Reflecting on the album, Dr. Yohan shares; “If ‘premium’ refers to topmost quality, then when Psalms 150 says, ‘Let everything that has breath praise the Lord,’ I’m saying that when we do it, let’s do it premium!”

The album was recorded with a live audience in Abuja, Nigeria, and explores a variety of sub-genres including Amapiano, Afrobeats, and Electronic Pop. Featuring collaborations with other Gospel artists and the artistic prowess of the talented team at TAP, Dr. Yohan has curated an immersive praise and worship experience with this project.

In sync with this release, Dr. Yohan plans to start a praise movement where folks can share their testimonies on social media with a #premiumpraise hashtag, welcoming their followers to praise God for them and encouraging others about God’s wondrous capacity. One of the tracks on the album titled Balogun is a soul-stirring song that reverently acknowledges God as a mighty warlord, fighting and triumphing in battles for humans.

Dr. Yohan also plans to launch a #BalogunChallenge on TikTok inviting individuals to share their stories of divine intervention and victories in times of struggle, aligning perfectly with the song’s empowering message.

Set to be released on the 3rd of March and made available on all streaming platforms, Dr. Yohan’s Premium Praise promises to be a harmonious voyage of beautiful praise and worship songs.
A statement urged listeners to join the movement by sharing your #premiumpraise testimony or jumping on the #Balogunchallenge, adding that the album is available on his website.
