Fashola, Ajimobi, for Nigerian Broadcasters awards

The coast is now cleared for the highly anticipated second edition of Nigerian Broadcasters Awards (NBA). The yearly event that is being packaged by The Reality Entertainment is now scheduled for Sunday, December 11, at the prestigious Lagoon Restaurant Ozumba Mbadiwe street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

More over as a build up for this year’s NBA with Ambassador Segun Olusola as Chief Host, an Exclusive Nominees Party is billed to hold on Saturday December 3, at Cave Bar, Joel Ogunaike street, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.

Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos State and his Oyo State counterpart, Governor Abiola Ajimobi have been penciled down alongside Walter Oyatogun, Toyin Subair, Lekan Ogunbanwo, Mrs Biola Alabi, Benson Idonije and Amaka Igwe, for Special Recognition Awards.

Aside inducting Bisi Olatilo, Mrs. Bimbo Oloyede and Cally Ikpe into NBA’s Hall of Fame, Madam Anike Agbaje Williams, Danladi Bako and Chief Raymond Dokpesi will be honoured with the Life Time Achievement Awards for their immensurable contribution to the development of Nigerian electronic media.

There are also competitive categories for the reigning and rising On-Air Personalities, whose presence cannot be ignored on airwaves. There are more than 20 categories to be contested by the practising OAPs not just in Lagos but across the federation.

Among the lined-up programmes that will add glitz and glamour to the event includes, red carpet reception, live studio broadcast, command performances from top rated music stars and humour merchants and other side attractions.
