Nigeria Olympic team were welcomed by cold weather and rain showers on arrival in Casablanca, Morocco, by 10.30am local time Saturday ahead of the forthcoming Africa U23 Championship.
The team got a feel of what the weather would look like in their three week-stay in Morocco, upon arrival at the Mohamed I International Airport, Casablanca, as the maximum temperature was put at 16 degrees Celsius with heavy showers. The team engaged in another 25 minutes drive from the airport to their Hotel Anfa Port camp for the next five days.
The coach Austin Eguavoen-tutored side departed the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, at 7.25am on board a flight by Royal Air Maroc with a 29 man contingent.
