Jigawa awards township road contract at N3.822b.

DUTSE:- Jigawa state government has awarded contract worths N3.822 billion for the construction of road network, site and services for new high breed layout phase 1 in Dutse, the state capital.

Speaking during the signing ceremony on behalf of the state government, the Executive chairman of Dutse Capital Development Authority (DCDA), Alhaji Bashir Aminu Suleiman, said the contract was awarded a reputable firm Dantata and Sawoe Nigeria Limited and has completion period of 12 calendar months as contained in the contractual agreement.

According to the DCDA Boss the projects was part of the present administration commitment in providing basic amenities as well as enhance infrastructural development in all the major cities and towns of the state, adding that the   township road across the state will add colour of  beauty to the benefitting towns.

“The government of Jigawa state under governor Lamido is committed to improved the living condition of it’s citizens through provision of basic necessities of life which included road network that will enhance socio economic and commercial activities of the people of the state”.

Alhaji Bashir Aminu charged the construction firm to abide by all terms and contract agreement by ensuring that it completes the project within the stipulated period, saying however the government will not accept substandard job from any contractor but expressed confidence on Dantata and Sawoe company who have excelled in his job.

Responding, the projects manager who signed on behalf of the  Dantata and Sawoe Nigeria limited, Engineer Nasiru Dantata thanks the government of jigawa state for recognizing and finding their company work of note and awarded such and gigantic projects to it, he pledged that the company will complete the project within scheduled and with quality project.
