Ewherido: DPP chieftain advises Amori

A chieftain of the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP), Comrade Emudia Akpoyoma, has called on Chief Ighoyota Amori, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Delta Central in the last National Assembly election to support Senator Pius Ewherido in the general interest of Urhobo instead of engaging him in a legal battle.

He made this known at a press briefing in Effurun to express his bitterness over the way Chief Amori is going about pursing a “case when he knows full well that Hon. Ewherido defeated him,” saying even if the election is conducted 100 times; ‘”Ewherido will win him squarely”.

Akpoyoma added that Urhobo as a people have decided to chart a new path, saying “even if Amori goes to the Supreme Court… he will lose. If this man (Amori) has Urhobo interest at heart… he should stop bothering himself by unnecessary litigations”.

He advised the Urhobo to unite and be prepared to fight the challenges of 2015.
