KADUNA – Eight out of the 10 persons critically wounded during the attack by unknown persons on Bitrao village, Jabba local government area of Kaduna State two weeks ago, have been rushed to Shika specialist hospital in the state even as  they were given N50,000 each by the local government  for treatment while the state government gave N70,000 each to families of the dead to cover burial expenses.

The Chairman Caretaker Committee of the Jabba LGA, Mr. Joseph Maigari confirmed this to officials of Southern Kaduna Progressive Alliance, SKAPA, who visited Bitaro yesterday.

Meanwhile, the Police yesterday confirmed the arrest of unspecified number of suspects in the attack, which Bitaro villagers alleged were carried out by Fulani herdsmen.

Maigari who received SKAPA officials at the palace of the Kpop Ham (Chief of Koi),  thanked them for their concern. He took them to the District Head of Bitaro, Mr. Dauda Gimba, a retire superintendent of Police.
