YOLA- Former National Chairman of the Alliance for Democracy, AD, and Progressive People’s Alliance, PPA, Comrade Adamu Song is to be turbanned as the ‘’Waliki Asisbiti’’ by the Lamido of Adamawa,Dr Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa.

Song will be turbanned on Saturday, September 10 at the Lamido’s palace in, Yola, Adamawa following his selection by the Lamido for the position.

Barkindo Musdafa, 67, who is the 12th Lamido was the Ciroma of Adamawa before his appointment following the death of the former occupant of the position last year.

Comrade Song, himself confirmed that he would be turbanned by the Lamido at his palace, expressing surprise at the development.

‘’I am pleased about the development. It is an honour to be made one of the traditional chiefs by the Lamido,’’ he told Vanguard.
