The League of Patriotic Lawyers has thrown its weight behind the candidacy of Chris Ubah, describing it as undisputed choice of Anambra South Senatorial District.

It also said Ubah would make Anambra proud at the Senate.

The group said this in a statement by its Chairman, Abubakar Yesufu.

The statement reads:”Chris Ubah is a defender of the wretched of the earth.

“Ochianga or Esele nu ga as he is popularly known would do well for the youths, widows, orphans, dispossessed of Igbo nay Nigeria if he is allowed to fly the flag of NDIGBO in the senate.

“Serially betrayed by friends and foes, Esele nu ga’s love for NDIGBO remains undiminished.The league enjoins the people of Anambra , especially Anambra South voters to vote into Senate a man of vision and mission. If Anambra fails again to vote in a deeply rooted candidate which Chris Ubah represents, they will be confronted with another choice of absentee senator.

Like father Damian and his leper colony in Kuala Lumpur, they must  share the homes of the poor , eat their food, drink their water, think their thoughts, dream their dreams and share their hopes’
