Bi-Courtney assures on Lagos-Ibadan road repairs

LAGOS-Management of Bi-Courtney Highway Services Limited has assured that palliative work on Lagos-Ibadan expressway would be completed before the Muslim holidays to facilitate easy transportation  during the period.

The management explained that it would complete the patching and overlaying of some bad portions of the highway before expiration of the  60-day ultimatum given by the Minister of Works, Mr. Mike Onolememen.

In a statement, Mr. Dipo Kehinde, spokesman of the company, noted that the palliative work was preparatory to full-scale reconstruction that will be handled by the company and a leading South African firm by which time the climate would be friendlier for work to begin.

Kehinde said: “Road users demand satisfaction, and that’s what we shall give them. We thank God for removing, day by day, every obstacle on the path of this all important project.”
