The governing council of Pebble Hills University has appointed North South Business School NSBS, as its affiliate in Nigeria. NSBS is to co-ordinate the activities of the Institution, which includes admissions of students for its programmes from undergraduate to Doctoral degrees. And also to establish a Branch, Campus model of the University in Nigeria.

Addressing journalists in Lagos, NSBS President, Dr. Oluwole Fagbayide, said this became neccessary following a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two institutions recently.

According to him, NSBS was established under the companies and Allied Matters Act, 1990 part B in 2005. Among other things, the school will meet the educational and professional demands of a diverse domestic and international adult students population. To offer Diplomas, Certificate and professional programmes in a variety of academic disciplines to help the students meet their educational and career advancement goals.

Apart from this, it provides a cutting-edge business, management and information technology education as well as training undergraduates, postgraduates and professionals with counseling on the attainment of desired academic and professional certification.

Also, it produces a cutting-edge business, management and information technology education that is capable of impacting business people in order to bring positive change to their organizations and businesses.

NSBS is also required to provide a research base environment capable of meeting international standard in the business world and equip the students for better tomorrow by taking advantage of the world new technology advancement.

The programme are designed to improve the knowledge and competence of human resources in various aspects of life as well as to convert those who have graduated in other fields into people with the right skills and outlook needed in the dynamic and turbulent global challenging environment. Therefore, its academic and professional programs are multidisciplinary and as such, they are committed to ‘’balanced excellence’’. The University programmes are designed to attract prospective students from various backgrounds and prepare them for heigher positions through a variety of teaching methods as well as as the case method asnd computer simulated games, depending on which approach is most appropriate for the particular course of interest,’’ he added
