UGHELLI—THE family of Enakirerhi of Ovwodokpokpo community, Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State, has raised alarm over the killing of their son, Mr. Nyerhovwo Enakirerhi.

Addressing newsmen in Ughelli, yesterday, elder brother of the deceased, Mr. Happy Enakirerhi, alleged that his brother was stabbed to death during scuffle at a drinking joint in Ofuoma community, Ughelli North council on July 30.

He added that six persons had been arrested and taken to the state Police headquarters in Asaba for their alleged involvement in the murder, but accused the leadership of Ofuoma community of covering up the principal suspects in the matter.

He said the culprits were members of the community and were being protected from prosecution.
