Prophet Isaiah Wealth, the founder, Gospel Pillars International Churches and Pray Nigeria Movement, is a clergy burning with passion for his country Nigeria.  In spite all the happenings he believes there is a better tomorrow for the country. He is among the few who have sacrificed a lot to empower the Nigerian society.

This he does through his philanthropic activities that cuts across race, tribe, and religion to deliver top-notch humanitarian services in different continents, through OneSound Charity, which presently operates fifteen NGOs catering for the needs of women, children, and less privileged in the society, especially in Nigeria.

Following this passion and prayer to see a changed Nigeria that will be devoid of corruption, insecurity, killing of innocent Nigeria, banditry, poverty etc. Prophet Isaiah Wealth recently was divinely directed to organise National Interdenominational Prayer Service with 7 days fasting and prayer ahead of 2023 election and henceforth, the prayer continues on June 12 every year as his own quota to nation-building.  The prophet reassures Nigerians that come 2023 a good leader will emerge, centred the prayer requests on forgiveness at all levels, restoration and good leadership as different ministers from different denomination participated in the prayer as they were led.

In a media chart with journalists after the programme on what should be expecting henceforth, Prophet Isaiah said, Yes! We have prayed and we believe that there is God in heaven who formed the earth, He has not forgotten the earth. “He answers prayer, and the system that He designed on earth is one that He is involved in it and we cannot succeed without Him, and that is why prayer is important.

According to him, Nations, individuals fail because they leave out. And this is what we are trying to address, the importance of prayer, making God the bedrock because He designed the earth. We need Him in our quest for a new nation.

Continuing, he said that prayer programme is not only for the forthcoming election, even after the election next year, we are going to fast and pray on June 12 next year.

In addition, the Chairman, Organising Committee (NIPS) Professor Johnson Egonmwan, said, “with this fasting and prayer, we are expecting a changed Nigeria where corruption, poverty, inequality, injustice will be reduced etc. These are human weaknesses. With the prayer of this church in collaboration with other churches around the globe, it is now a weaponised prayer, which will cut off the heads of evil people draining the resources of Nigeria, draining the wealth of the individuals of Nigeria. People who have refused to let Nigerians have education, skills but can keep billions of money in their private account, money that should be used for public good.

In the same vein, Professor Christopher, Imumolen, the presidential candidate Accord Party and Vice Chancellor, Global Wealth University, said that politics, Nigerian welfare and activities around it is more spiritual, and I believe the spiritual births the physical. “So, for us who are Christians who believe so much in divinity we understand the impact of spiritual asserting to nation building. Nigeria for a long time has failed when it comes to using our mental strength trying to build this nation. That is why we need to go back to God.

The essence of this programme is to let us know that God still runs the affairs of men and we should not forget that as christians and as human, even the Muslims too should begin to go back to God”.

In his own contribution, Founder, Peace Ambassador, Shun Corruption Ambassador and Presiding Pastor, Family of Jesus Mission, Kaduna, Bishop Jonathan Awazie added that

every spirit minded person should understand what the event was called for. “It’s a spiritual awakeness, spiritual revival. Nigeria needs revival and the only thing that can revive Nigeria is when we go to God for that spiritual revival and without that there will be no sustenance. This programme is something we have to thank God.
