In an apparent move to bring mobile phone users together with genuine dealers, an event management and promotion firm, Phonetopia in partnership with Eko Fm Station is set to provide an avenue for customers to get the best phones and services at best prices from authorized retailers.

The partnership is also targeting to use the fair to offer mobile phone users an opportunity for a direct interaction with representatives of telecoms and phone brands.

The Project Manager of the company, Segun Opebi, said the fair is a four-day event scheduled to hold between July 6 to 9, 2011 at the Eko FM Mega Tent, Agidingbi, Lagos.

According to him, Phonetopia would feature an Expo which would be attended by professionals, major stakeholders in the industry, who would be delivering speeches on the theme ‘Blue Oceans in The Nigerian Mobile Phone Market’.

“It is also a fair for value added service companies with products dependent on the mobile phone; where customers get the chance of buying the best phones from the authorised retailers, also have direct interaction with representative of the telecoms, phone brands and other value added service companies.

It offers mobile phone manufacturers, distributors, service providers and other VAS companies the opportunity to Increase Sales, Promote their products and services, Increase brand connection with consumers. It is a fair that attracts large number people interested in buying mobile phones, exposes them to mobile phone trends, increases sales for phone brands, creates post-event sales patronage for the vendors, Promotes products and packages of Telecoms operators,” he said.
