WARRI – The governorship candidate of the Mega Progressive Peoples Party, MPPP, Chief Afro Buikeme has asked the Chairman, Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DISEC, Justice Jaho (rtd), to resign for allegedly being a card-carrying member of the People Democratic Party, PDP, arguing that he will not be able to conduct free, fair and credible local government area election in the state.
He also called on the security agencies to make the protection of Youth Corp members, a priority whenever they are being engaged in future services.
Chief Buikeme, who spoke in Warri, yesterday, threatened to go to the electoral tribunal to seek justice over what he described as the “electoral injustice” in the April elections in the state.
