Falcons are dangerous, says Ghana coach

Despite pulling a draw in the first leg of the All African Games qualifiers, Ghana Under-23 women coach James Koko Dadzie is refusing to rule the Falcons out of contention.

Dadzie stated that Nigeria have a pool of talented female footballers who are capable of producing results under pressure.

“We played a 1-1 draw in Abuja, but we are not getting carried away by the result. There is still everything to play for in the second leg.

“The Falcons are still dangerous and are capable of winning in Accra. This is why we are going back home to make sure we prepare our girls for the game,” said the coach.

The Ghanaians canceled out Desire Oparanozie’s 76th minute strike to put themselves in a good stead for qualification for the Maputo All Africa Games. However, Falcons coach Eucheria Uche is optimistic that her team will turn the table around in second leg in Accra.
