A philanthropist who always lends a helping hand where and when it is needed, he has spoken out and condemned the recent killings of more than 20 innocent civilians mostly women in an attack on Lisasa, a village in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). A local NGO called Cepadho said in a statement that of the 21 killed, 15 were women. According to news sources a health centre was also ransacked, homes were set on ablaze and a church park as also desecrated. He has urged the government to make sure the perpetrators of this unholy act are brought to justice.
