KADUNA –  With  riots in the Northern states  spreading Monday,  in protest against the victory of  the Peoples Democratic  Party, PDP,  Presidential Candidate, President Jonathan Goodluck, the National Secretary of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC,  Alhaji Buba Galadima, Monday, declared that the party will not accept anyone who emerges winner in last Saturday’s Presidential polls, except it was Gen. Mohammadu Buhari of the CPC.

In an interview with the Hausa service of the British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC,  monitored in Kaduna by 6:30 am Monday, Galadima alleged that there was serious  manipulation of votes to favour the President  in the South East and South-South, adding that Northerners resident in those areas where prevented from voting.

“How can anyone score 90% of votes in areas where people did not come out to vote?”, he asked.

“We are not going to Court this time to challenge the result. Buhari did that in the past and it amounted to nothing. This time we simply  will  not be  recognising anyone who wins”, he said.

“People didn’t come out to vote, how you can get 90 percent votes in a place that people didn’t come out to vote. They also prevented Northerners from coming out to vote if they are not voting Jonathan.

“There was no where elections were held in the south East and South South. This is more than rigging, it is armed robbery. That is what happened.

He also dismissed declaration by local and foreign observers who declared that the election was free and fair, alleging that some state governors rigged the election in favour of Jonathan.

“It is a must for us to reject the outcome of this election. We reject the results of the election in South East and the South South. There  are some states that must be investigated. We would not accept the outcome of the election in those states.

“The states include Sokoto, Jigawa, Adamawa, Nasarawa, Abuja, Bunue, Plateau and the rest of them. We are rejecting more than half of the results from the states.  We will not accept the result of this election.

“Will not go to court, we went to court before. We will not accept anybody who emerged as winner of this election” Galadima said.
