As the count down to the April 22nd  premiere date of “Ghetto Dreamz”,  a biopic on late rapper Dagrin begins, Trybson the Stingomania’s hip hop sensation who acted as Dagrin, speaks about his role in the movie.

Trybson who according to Daniel Adenimokan,  the director of the movie got the role because of his peculiar nature to the character says,  playing the role of Dagrin goes beyond just reciting lines and acting in front of the camera.

You need to be really into the character to understand how to effectively deliver your lines. I am usually on my toes to deliver my best.’

Asked to paint a picture of what he thought was the usual day to day lifestyle of the late rapper and Trybson replied, “Dagrin lived the life of a young rapper who was just chasing his dreams. He also had to go through so much in his bid to become what he wanted to be. His background was not really different from that of most youths in the ghetto who battle with so many odds. Fitting into his role is not that hard because the kind of life he lived is not different from the kind of life I live’.

Ghetto Dreamz chronicles the life and times of Dagrin. It features the early life of the rapper, his rise to fame and circumstances that surrounds his death.  Other than Trybson, Ghetto Dreamz feature other nollywood stars like Doris Simeon, Rachel Oniga, Pa Kasumu, Kenny Saint brown, Jaywon and a fast rising Oyindamola Odesola and others.

The producer of the movie Ope Banwo, speaking on the movie said we have no doubt the movie will do well in the cinema as Dagrin is loved by everybody.

Mr. Raw drops new videos
The career of Hip-Hop crooner Mr. Raw (formerly known as Nigger Raw), continues to soar, as the rapper with a deep sense of humour and who recently returned from a very successful United States of American tour, dropped two new videos from his current album, End of Discussion.

The musical videos, Spiritual Conji and Let’s Party, are currently ruling the airwaves and increasing his fans base.

Directed by Godfather Productions in South Africa, the works, according to an insider had taken musical videos production to the next level.

Confirming the our story, Mr. Raw, who won an award for the Best Afro Hip-hop video, at the Nigerian Music Video Awards (NMVA), last year, disclosed that more scintillating videos are on the way.

He also revealed plans of embarking on an European and Asian tours very soon, adding that his fans in these parts of the world are already clamouring for his presence and lyrical prowess on stage.

Abia State born Raw said the forthcoming tours would afford him the opportunity to feel the pulse of his fans and followers as well as mix freely with them.

Meanwhile, the accountant turned entertainer also revealed that  several shows have been lined up for his teeming fans this Easter period and beyond in Nigeria.

“I’m very happy and thankful to God that my two new videos, Spiritual Conji and Let’s Party, are ruling the airwaves and topping charts. There are more videos to come from the album, which I’m proud to say is a loaded effort.
