Enugu Rangers are soliciting for financial support from the state governor Sullivan Chime to enable them pay their outstanding debts like players sign-on-fees for the last and current season. Media Officer of the club, Foster Chime told Inside out Premier League, that lack of funds has affected the running of the club, as he called on the state government to come to their aid.

We have been into serious financial debt, talking about the players sign-on-fees which we have not finished paying . So far we were able to pay 40% for last season and still owing 60%, while for this season nothing has been paid to the players and technical crew. We are owing close to half a million.
