Nigeria Premier League side, Ocean Boys, have decided to punish three absentee stars for their failure to return in time after the Christmas break.

The trio of Super Eagles invitee Ayo Saka, Chimezie Mba and Ndubuisi Nkoro are yet to rejoin their colleagues this year. They were unavailable when the team lost 0_2 at Kwara United and are not in the squad for Wednesday’s rescheduled match at Warri Wolves.

“The players will be punished whenever they return. We have decided not to call them and they’ve not called to inform the club about their failure to resume duties,” Ocean Boys media officer, Ohis Eddy said to SuperSport.com.

Eddy assured fans that the team will soon move out of troubled zone.“Our performance will improve. It’s just a matter of time,” he stated. Ocean Boys have been amongst the bottom four teams since the league kicked off in November.
