TO reclaim the Delta State Governorship stool in a fresh election to be held not later than February 9, 2011, the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has raised a 30-man campaign committee for Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan.

Three-and-a-half years in his reign, the Court of Appeal nullified Uduaghan’s election recently and ordered a repeat election within 90 days. The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is yet to announce a date for the polls which, by the court’s order, must not exceed February 9 next year.

The team has Uduaghan himself as chairman; Delta PDP Chairman, Chief Peter Nwaoboshi and Acting Governor, Prince Sam Obi, among others.
