The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) has said that it ‘will no longer tolerate the militarization of our elections.’

The party made this known in a series of tweet on its Twitter handle on Wednesday saying
‘We will no longer tolerate the militarization of our elections by the failed & discredited @OfficialAPCNg. We therefore call on all our members in Benue State to resist any form of intimidation and electoral irregularities.’

It also said that: ‘Benue Guber Election: We have been reliably informed that the @Mbuhari led FG has deployed a special squad from the DSS to disrupt election in some @OfficialPDPNig strongholds in Benue State in order to pave way for the @OfficialAPCNg to rig the election’
