Owners of Nigeria Industrial Digest, an e-publication says it has expanded its coverage areas to mining and the agriculture sector.

Mr. Franklin Alli, Editor of the e-paper,  said in Lagos that the reason for adding these sectors to its  content was in response to demands by organisations who want to be read on the website.

“Often times, people send materials  to us for publication outside our focused areas, and “we turn them down  but we shall no longer  do that.”

“They (readers) have been commending us for the quality of stories at the site and our unique writing style.   A company had indicated their interest to adopt our writing style for their in-house  newsletter.   This shows people are following us and are taking us seriously,” he said.

On not reporting general news,  he said: “There are thousands of online platforms in the country, so,  we want to pick a thing and do it better”
