Former Super Eagles forward Etim Esin says Samson Siasia is the right man for the Eagles’ coaching job following his achievements at the youth level  in the country, stressing that Siasia has improved himself, especially in the empowerment of the youth in the country.

“Both of them have a pedigree but for youth development, I think Siasia is the right man. I’m not saying that Keshi is not a good coach, he has only proved himself outside the country. Siasia has proved himself within the country especially with the youths, the U-20 and national U-23 teams.

“I’m giving it to Siasia.  Apart from the fact that he has helped to improve many of our players, he  also won a silver medal for the country at the Beijing Olympics from  which many stars were brought into limelight.

“Keshi also has done well in his coaching job but that is outside the shores of the country. Since the NFA has narrowed it to the two of them, I think Siasia is  the right man for the job,” Esin said.
