Members of the All Indigenous Contractors Association of Nigeria (AICAN) have raised concerns over the impact of delayed payments for federal government projects, warning that it could hinder economic growth, fuel unemployment, and exacerbate social vices.

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he would not use force to take control of Greenland, an autonomous territory of Washington’s ally Denmark, but insisted the United States must still have “ownership” of it.

“The USA is the economic engine on the planet. And when America booms, the entire world booms. It’s been the history,” he said during a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where the Greenland crisis has dominated talks.
