The All Progressives Congress, APC, Zamfara State chapter, has reiterated its commitment to working with the 2027 APC Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, led by Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar, to secure victory for the party’s candidates in the 2027 general elections.

The state chapter made its position known during a solidarity visit by its executives, led by the state chairman, Hon. Kabiru Moyi Birnin Magaji, to Yari at his residence in Talata-Mafara, Zamfara State, on Friday, September 11, 2026.

In a statement by the APC state Publicity Secretary, Hon. Ibrahim Muhammad (Danmadamin Birnin Magaji), the party said the visit was aimed at expressing its readiness to work closely with the PCC to ensure the party’s success in the forthcoming elections.

According to the statement, Birnin Magaji said the state party leadership and its members were prepared to support Yari in his role as Director-General of the PCC and contribute to the mobilisation of voters for the APC.

He said, having secured the position of Director-General of the PCC, the APC leadership and members in Zamfara had a responsibility to support Yari and ensure that his assignment was successful.

Birnin Magaji also commended Yari for his efforts towards promoting unity within the APC in Zamfara and across the country, as well as his financial, moral and material support for the party and its members.

Responding, Yari, who represents Zamfara West Senatorial District, expressed satisfaction with the commitment of APC members in the state towards supporting his assignment.

He said the success of the campaign would begin from the home state of the campaign council’s director-general.

Yari subsequently announced a donation of ₦50 million in cash and a new 32-seater bus to the state chapter of the party to facilitate its activities.

He also announced the provision of a 2027 Hajj seat for each member of the APC State Executive Council.
