The Companion hails Fajimite’s election as new MULAN president

The Companion, an association of Muslim men in business and the professions, has congratulated one of its distinguished members, Barrister Hassan Fajimite, on his election as the President of the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (MULAN), describing his emergence as a recognition of his dedication to the legal profession and service to Islam.

The association conveyed its congratulatory message in a statement jointly signed by its National Amir (President), Imam Nojeem Jimoh, and Publicity Secretary, Prof. Tunde Akanni.

According to The Companion, Fajimite’s election reflects the confidence reposed in him by his colleagues and acknowledges his years of professional excellence and commitment to nation-building.

“Fajimite’s emergence as the leader of this prestigious professional body is a fitting recognition of your unwavering commitment to the legal profession, exemplary integrity, distinguished service to Islam, and consistent contributions to nation-building,” the statement read.

The association said it was delighted that members of the legal body had entrusted him with the responsibility of leading MULAN at what it described as a critical period.

It noted that, as a member of The Companion, Fajimite has consistently exemplified the values of professionalism, humility, excellence and selfless service.

“As an esteemed member of The Companion, the new MULAN leader has consistently demonstrated the values of excellence, professionalism, humility, and selfless service, which our association holds dear,” the statement added.

The Companion also expressed confidence that under Fajimite’s leadership, the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria would continue to promote justice, uphold ethical legal practice, improve the welfare of Muslim lawyers and contribute to national development.

“We are confident that under the new leader, MULAN will continue to advance the cause of justice, promote ethical legal practice, strengthen the welfare of Muslim lawyers, and contribute meaningfully to the development of Nigeria,” the association stated.

It further prayed for divine wisdom, good health and guidance for the new MULAN president as he assumes office.

“We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants you abundant wisdom, sound health, courage, and divine guidance as you discharge the responsibilities of your new office. May He bless your tenure with remarkable achievements, lasting impact, and enduring success,” the statement said.

The association also wished Fajimite a successful and rewarding tenure at the helm of the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria.
