Michael Oladimeji Caxton-Martins, known professionally as BlackBoyMCM, has been active across a series of live events in Lagos over the past year, working as a hypeman and event host within the gospel and broader entertainment space.

His appearances reflect the continued demand for professional hosts who combine audience engagement with structured event coordination.

In April 2025, Caxton-Martins hosted multiple events across the city. On April 19, he appeared at ARAMANDA, a large-scale Christian gathering held at the Landmark Event Centre, where he was responsible for coordinating audience interaction during the programme. He also hosted private events during the same period, including wedding receptions, where his role involved managing proceedings and maintaining audience engagement.

Later in the year, he participated in The Hangout 2025, held on September 17, where he worked alongside performers and event organisers to facilitate the programme. In November, on the 9th, he co-hosted the Kingdom Achievers Awards at the MUSON Centre, an event that brought together individuals within the gospel and creative community.

His activities continued into December 2025 with several engagements. On December 7, he served as host for Music In The Park 2025, organised by LifePointe Church, an event that combined music and community-focused activities. He also hosted private ceremonies, including wedding receptions in Ikeja and other parts of Lagos, where his responsibilities included anchoring programmes and coordinating audience flow.

Earlier, in December 2023, Caxton-Martins participated in Rock Fest, a gospel-focused youth event in Lagos, where he contributed as a hypeman during live performances.

Across these engagements, his role has centred on live hosting and audience interaction, functions that remain integral to Nigeria’s event and entertainment industry.
