Roland Igbadumhe declares for Edo Assembly Seat

Roland Igbadumhe, fondly called “Youngest Old Man”, has officially declared his intention to contest for the Edo State House of Assembly seat representing Etsako East.

The declaration ceremony, held at the APC secretariat in Etsako East, drew a large crowd of party faithful and supporters. Dressed in a flowing senator’s attire, Igbadumhe received a kingly welcome, with cheers, handshakes, and warm embraces from the people.

Speaking passionately, he urged constituents to entrust him with their mandate:

“I ask you to search your hearts and elect me as your next Assembly member. My election will guarantee holistic growth and development for Etsako East.”

Igbadumhe emphasized that his connections and experience would be leveraged to attract development projects and opportunities to the constituency. Under his campaign banner, Renewed Hope 2026, he promised quality representation and accelerated progress for the people.

Supporters at the event expressed confidence in his candidacy. One party member remarked:

“Roland is my brother and my friend. If given the mandate, he will work tirelessly for all of us.”

Beyond politics, Igbadumhe has built a reputation in entertainment and philanthropy. Formerly Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment to ex-Governor Adams Oshiomhole, he has spearheaded grassroots initiatives including building an orphanage in Okpekpe and supporting widows and youth through empowerment programs.

With his blend of civic engagement, community service, and political ambition, Roland Igbadumhe’s entry into the race adds fresh energy to the contest for Etsako East’s Assembly seat.
