The LOGIC Church has successfully hosted the second edition of its “Jesus + Nothing” Worship meeting, delivering a powerful Good Friday experience centred on the sufficiency of Christ.
Held on April 3, 2026, in Lekki, Lagos, the worship gathering brought together believers for an evening of intense praise, prayer and reflection on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Anchored by Lead Pastor, Apostle Flourish Peters, the event underscored the core message of the Gospel, as he declared that “Jesus plus nothing is everything,” stressing that “the finished work of Christ is enough for the believer.”
Apostle Peters further noted that the gathering was designed to “bring people back to the simplicity of the Gospel,” adding that “our faith must be rooted in Christ alone, not in systems, not in works, but in His completed sacrifice.”
The event featured a lineup of gospel ministers who delivered soul-lifting ministrations.
UK The Voice runner-up, Emmanuel Smith, stirred the atmosphere with a powerful performance, while MagPsalms, Mera Owili, and Steve Hills led the congregation in worship medleys.
A reflective session was led by Nosa Omorogie, who guided attendees through prayers and spiritual ministration, reinforcing Apostle Peters’ message on Christ’s sufficiency.
This was followed by high-energy ministrations from Gerald Bishung and Timi Dakolo, whose performances further heightened the atmosphere of worship.
The night culminated in a vibrant session of traditional praise led by Uche Okereke, supported by continuous prayers from pastors of The LOGIC Church.
Organisers described the event as a prelude to the forthcoming “Jesus + Nothing” Conference scheduled to hold from May 27 to May 31, 2026.
According to Apostle Peters, “the conference will deepen conversations around the sufficiency of Christ and expand on the message shared during the worship meeting,” adding that “Jesus remains the centre of it all.”
