Bomadi Elders and Stakeholders Forum, BESF, a socio-political group under the All Progressive Congress, APC, has given its express and unreserved endorsement to President Bola Tinubu and the Delta State governor, Sheriff Oborevwori as its sole Presidential and governorship candidates in 2027.
BESF resolved that President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori carry it mandate beyond 2027 and assured that with its mapped out strategies in the unit, wards, local government levels the forum will go to achieve its goal.
BESF at its maiden meeting in Bomadi, headquarter of Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, the trio of Dr Deingha Marculey emerged as Chairman BESF, Pius Labo, Director General BESF and Mr Governor Yankee, Secretary BESF respectively, as members of the forum pledged to be united by a shared vision for Oborevwori which the forum prioritised to sustain its vision for stability, equality, justice and fairness for the development of the state.
Others who emerged as central committee members include Mr. Flemming Cartar, vice Chairman, Chief Michael Seikegba, National Coordinator of Diaspora and William Angadi, Spokesman/publicity Secretary, Mr. Philip Gilor, Asst Publicity Sec, Gabriel Yabaka, Legal Adviser, Jeremiah Owotomor, Youths Mobilization (boys/girl), Chief Flora Biripu LGA Director of Women Mobilisation.
The forum also set-up five man team each in the 10 wards that make up Bomadi LG with a charge to engage in one-on-one/door to door campaign for President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori for 2027 general elections.
It maintained that ahead to 2027, with its commitment to consolidate the gains of the Oborevwori administration for equity in execution of projects across the sate, the forum owed him support for his stewardship to continue the pace without interruption.
The BESF’s position was overwhelmingly adopted to ensure continuity and encourage the Federal Government in its developmental efforts in the Niger Delta and also support Oborevwori sustained the drive for the development of the riverine communities in the state.
