Bold Money Women (BMW), an initiative supported by Growth Padi convened by Victory Mesona, successfully hosted its second edition on March 21, 2026, at Miva University, Yaba, Lagos, bringing together over 80 ambitious women for a powerful day of learning, connection, conversations and growth.
The event, themed “Unleash Her Growth Era,” focused on helping women grow beyond just career advancement by combining conversations around leadership, financial independence, confidence, and wellness.
Speaking during her welcome address, the convener, Victory Mesona, explained that Bold Money Women was created to help women step fully into their power and stop shrinking because of uncertainty.
“We want women to know who they are, understand their worth and be confident enough to pursue success boldly. Bold Money Women was created to ensure women not focus solely on what they can get, but about what they truly deserve,” she said.
One of the major highlights of the event was the panel session titled “Navigating the Growth Curve as a Bold Woman,” which featured Titilola Olaolu-Hassan, Onyinye Anumba and Mary Edoro, and was moderated by Victory Mesona. The conversation focused on career journeys, leadership challenges, and lessons for women navigating growth in today’s competitive environment.
Participants also took part in a financial workshop led by Oluchukwu Chiadika, popularly known as Personal Finance Girl, where practical strategies for building wealth, managing money and becoming financially confident were shared in a simple and relatable way.
Beyond career and finance, the event also introduced wellness focused sessions including “Health Is Wealth” by Henrietta Odiase and “Glow and Grow: Skin and Hair Essentials” by Mfon Nkereuwem, reinforcing the idea that true growth must also include physical wellbeing and self care.
The event also featured an intimate “Brunch with TVM” session sponsored by Sooyah Bistro, where participants had the opportunity to connect directly with the convener in a relaxed and personal setting.
