BOMADI—The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kpakiama Ward 2, Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, has inaugurated its 27-member Ward Executive, tasking the team with mobilising support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in the 2027 general elections.
The Ward Congress, held Wednesday at Orubiri Quarters in Kpakiama, saw party members deliberate on strategies to strengthen unity, promote inclusiveness, and advance the party’s grassroots agenda.
During the event, the party confirmed Mr. Peres Agbai as Ward Chairman and Mr. Enaikebi Pigha Theophilus as Secretary, recognizing their leadership during and after the integration of former Peoples Democratic Party members into the ward. Other executive members were selected from all quarters of the ward to ensure fairness and gender inclusivity.
Addressing the gathering, Bomadi Constituency lawmaker Hon. Kenneth Oboro Preyor highlighted the constitutional basis for the congress, noting that the executive list had been finalized by a committee on February 8, 2025. He said the new executives would serve a four-year term and are mandated to secure electoral victories for Tinubu and Oborevwori.
“The composition of the ward executive encompasses all quarters of Kpakiama Ward 2, is gender-inclusive, and has been officially affirmed by the committee,” Preyor said. “Their mandate is clear: to deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and His Excellency Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori in the 2027 elections.”
In his remarks, Ward Chairman Peres Agbai pledged unwavering commitment to the party’s mandate, promising to work tirelessly to ensure electoral success. “I pledge not to let the party down; we shall exert every effort to fulfill the mandate entrusted to us,” he said, expressing gratitude to Preyor for his support.
The APC Ward Executive includes Mrs. Kemelayefa H. Selenanaotu (Vice Chairman), Mr. Frank Oyazimo (Assistant Secretary), Mrs. Ebikapade Blessing (Woman Leader), Mrs. Ebimoboere Ebiegberi (Treasurer), Mr. Stephen Moye Dierebo (Publicity Secretary), Dunu Sinclair (Youth Leader), Stanley Iyabribeine (Legal Adviser), among others.
The newly constituted executive team is expected to spearhead grassroots mobilization and consolidate the APC’s presence in Kpakiama ahead of the 2027 general elections.
