Why we conceived trade fair for SMEs, consumers — Bank-Olemoh, Whatadeal Africa boss

Whatadeal Africa, through its Whatadeal eCommerce is organising an inaugural trade fair to drive entrepreneurship growth in the country, empower medium and small scale businesses to upgrade their operations and connect with customers, both online and offline.

Speaking about the event, Managing Director of Whatadeal Africa, Mr. Fela Bank-Olemoh disclosed that the event holding in Lagos on November 29 and 30, 2025 will convene hundreds of vendors across key sectors, including fashion, beauty, technology, food, and lifestyle to offer shoppers exciting opportunity to explore a wide range of products and exclusive deals.

According to him, the trade fair will provide platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their products, interact directly with customers, and expand their brand visibility within a vibrant commercial environment.

Bank-Olemoh explained, “Attendees can also expect an immersive marketplace experience featuring interactive games, live entertainment, and exciting giveaways worth over ₦500,000.”

“The fair is an extension of our vision to offer tangible opportunity for growth, visibility, and community. This event transcends traditional trade interactions, It represents a convergence of enterprise, creativity, and technology. Through it, we are enabling vendors to gain exposure, customers to derive value, and communities to connect around shared commercial experiences”, he informed.

Bank-Olemoh added that the initiative was part of the organization’s eCommerce’s commitments to supporting SMEs’ growth through digital innovation and inclusive market participation.
