With a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Art, specializing in Acting and Directing, David has built an extraordinary career that reflects not only artistic excellence but a deep commitment to cultural impact, mentorship, and community upliftment.

A proud member of the Black Actors and Film Guild of Canada, David has delivered unforgettable performances in globally acclaimed African stage productions such as The Gods Are Not to Blame, Death and the King’s Horseman, Alaafin Karan, The Trials of Brother Jero, and Imagwero.

His mastery of storytelling, character, and emotion has positioned him as a multitalented actor, director, musician, and vocal/performance coach with an unwavering dedication to preserving and amplifying African narratives.

David’s musical journey has taken him to major stages across the world, where he continues to showcase his versatility across genres. His work as Music Director and Vocal/Performance Coach for Nigerian Idol (Seasons 1–3) remains a defining chapter of his career, having shaped and mentored many rising stars in Nigeria’s music industry. Today, he continues to coach choirs and individual performers with a signature blend of creativity, discipline, and precision.

In film and media, David has written, produced, and directed several short films, while also contributing as Assistant Director on acclaimed productions such as Exhale and Color of Love. His work across both short and feature films reflects his passion for authentic storytelling and his commitment to excellence in production.

Beyond his artistic pursuits, David is a voice-over artist, master of ceremonies, event consultant, and manager known for his professionalism, charisma, and collaborative leadership.

His entrepreneurial passion comes to life as Co-owner of Grandieu Inc., a multimedia, events, marketing, and entertainment company dedicated to producing culturally resonant and visually compelling work.

But one of his most impactful contributions to culture and community is AfroVisionX, an initiative he founded to celebrate African creativity, culture, and innovation.

For David, AfroVisionX is more than a creative project, it’s a cultural awakening. As he often emphasizes, “AfroVisionX was created to honor the stories, sounds, colors, and brilliance of Africa. For too long, our narratives have been told for us, not by us. AfroVisionX is our way of reclaiming that voice, celebrating the power of African creativity and connecting it with the world.
