In a bid to deepen their footprint in Nigeria’s information and communication technology, ICT sector, ICT arm of Coscharis conglomerate, Coscharis Technologies Limited and global networking giant, Tenda, have launched a series of Tenda products in Lagos.
Tenda’s latest suite of devices include access points, CPE radios, antennas, base stations, routers, and switches tailored for Internet Service Providers, ISPs, enterprises, and IT professionals.
The products were launched during the partners’ meeting with a major stakeholder engagement in Lagos.
The event was with the theme: “Connected to Win – For a Better Networking.”
Tenda’s Sales Manager in Nigeria, Mr. Joseph Agema, highlighted the occasion as a significant leap in their four-year collaboration with Coscharis Technologies. He said; “With Nigeria now our largest West African market and third in Africa, we are investing $1 million initially, with a target to grow by 50 percent annually.”
To safeguard product integrity and combat grey market risks, Agema emphasized Tenda’s exclusive distribution through trusted channels like Coscharis.
He noted: “This ensures reliable support across key cities like Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Kano.”
Despite economic challenges such as forex instability and counterfeit products, Agema urged the Nigerian government to create a more supportive regulatory environment to unlock greater ICT investment potential.
Coscharis’ Business Manager for Products and Tenda, Mr. Austin Ezirim, said customer perception has shifted positively. Ezirim said: “Where we once struggled for market acceptance, customers now attest to Tenda’s reliability. Our focus now is wider adoption and capacity building.”
Beyond product delivery, both firms are investing in training and technical support. Tenda offers 30-minute average response times and monthly partner-focused training to strengthen Nigeria’s networking landscape.
Earlier in his speech, Coscharis Technologies CEO, Mr. Sunday Mukoro, reinforced the company’s commitment to collaboration and simplicity in business. He praised Tenda’s leadership for its grassroots engagement and revealed plans to launch a digital marketplace, Marketplace for Africa to Trade, aimed at boosting intra-African commerce.
He stated: “In Coscharis, we don’t compete with our partners, we support them to win,” while underscoring the company’s values of transparency, trust, and partnership-driven growth.
