Mr. Taiwo Shittu is the MD/CEO of Lanre Shittu Motors Nigeria Ltd. Prior to this, he was the Group Executive Director for a couple of years at the company, working tirelessly, gathering skills, and learning the rope under his late father, Alhaji Rasaki Akanni Olanrewaju Shittu, to keep different segments of the auto business together and vibrant.

Mr. Taiwo Shittu knew from the onset what he wanted as a dream from his childhood, and he did not deviate from his dream and passion when he graduated from school. He started as a sales trainee in the company and steadily moved up the ladder. demonstrating consistently outstanding performance and dedication to the growth of the auto business.

Mr. Taiwo Shittu is a graduate of Babcock University with a degree in business administration and alumnus of Harvard Business School, United States. His passion for the auto industry has taken him across the globe and has acquired several local and international certifications in automobile and business development programs, which include China, Egypt, UAE, South Africa, and the United States of America.

His inputs over the years have added greatly to the growth and development of the business and this has attracted many achievement awards to the brand and to his name. As a goal-getter, Taiwo Shittu has admirable interpersonal marketing skills and sound emotional intelligence in the management of men and resources.

He was recently awarded the prestigious Nigeria Auto Personality of the Year award by the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association, making him the youngest person to earn the award, which has only been received by Nigerian auto legends like Chief Michael Ade Ojo of Elizade Group of Companies, Dr Cosmas Maduka, President COSCHARIS Group, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, CEO Innoson Vehicle Manufacturers and Chief Okoya Thomas, Chairman, CFAO Group, of blessed memory. Mr. Taiwo Shittu is happily married and blessed with children.
