The Arthur Jarvis University in Akpabuyo local government area of Cross River has gotten the approval of the council for legal education to commence law programme in October.

The University acting Registrar, Lady Mary Dan-Abia made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Calabar on Sunday.

Dan-Abia noted that the approval was contained in a letter to the institution by the secretary of the council board and director of administration, Ms Aderonke Osho.

She said that the University was given the approval to run the programme with a quota of 50 students per session.

The Arthur Jarvis University acting registrar noted that this approval was a clarification to the news making round that the University Law programme has been suspended for the 2025/2026 session.
