Oil Theft: Monarch commends Tompolo, Pondi

King of Arhavwarien kingdom, Delta State, His Royal Majesty King Solomon Okukeren III, has commended High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo), High Chief Engr. Keston Pondi, and the entire management of Tantita Security Services Limited for  their effort  in curbing  oil theft in the Niger Delta region. 

The monarch who is also the  Vice Chairman  Delta Central Traditional Rulers council, gave the commendation in his palace  when Hon. Mere Williams, the Okwagbe Waterside Community’s Tantita Security Unit Coordinator paid him a courtesy visit. 

The monarch lauded Tantita Security for the success so far recorded in the crusade against oil theft. 

“I want to state that the security team’s actions have even led to a noticeable reduction in the illegal trade of petroleum  products.”, he said.

The royal father  noted that the  efforts of Tompolo and his team had led to  substantial rise in the daily production of crude oil in the country, stressing that they deserve to be commended.

“I call on the Federal government and relevant stakeholders to provide more support to Tantita and the team   to sustain the success  and also improve on it “, he said 

On his part Hon. Mere Williams reiterated Tantita Security’s commitment to free the region from the grip of oil thieves, adding that massive  successes were already being recorded in the fight.

He also expressed gratitude to the monarch  for  his  support.
