The Olujimi family is urgently seeking N25 million for a heart surgery for their daughter, Mirabel.

The mother, Omolade who spoke with Vanguard said her daughter was diagnosed with a life-threatening heart disease in August 2024, and requires urgent medical attention.
According to the medical report issued by the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, Mirabel has been managed for bronchopneumonia with congestive cardiac failure and background congenital heart disease with grade 4/6 pan systolic murmur loudest at the left lower sternal border.

According to medical experts, serious complications of congenital heart disease can develop in babies who have a severe congenital heart defect characterized by heavy breathing, gasping breaths, and poor weight gain.

Mirabel’s mother is seeking support through the ‘Gifting Volunteer Network’, to save her daughter’s life. 

“Reaching out to the Gifting Volunteer Network was suggested by many, whose crowdfunding initiative was testified by those who received help in their number, ” she said.
