The Honourable Commissioner for Urban Renewal Delta State, Engr. Michael Anoka has expressed confidence that Delta State will continue to experience growth, development, and prosperity in 2025, under the transformative administration of the state Governor His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

In a New Year message,. Anoka took the opportunity to thank the people of Delta State for their unwavering support of Governor Oborevwori and his administration. He noted that this support has been a driving force behind the success of the Governor’s policies and programs aimed at improving the lives of the people.

“2024 has been a year of remarkable progress, and we are incredibly grateful to the people of Delta State for standing behind Governor Oborevwori and his vision for a better and more prosperous state,” Engr. Anoka said.

“With the continuous support of our people, we are poised for even greater achievements in 2025.”, he added.

The Commissioner highlighted some of the key achievements of Governor Oborevwori’s administration, which have significantly impacted the lives of Deltans. These include large-scale infrastructural development, including the construction and rehabilitation of roads, bridges, and other critical facilities across the state. He pointed out that these projects have not only improved the quality of life for Deltans but also created numerous job opportunities and stimulated local economies.

He also commended the Governor’s efforts in boosting the state’s education sector, improving healthcare, and implementing programs to empowering the youths and women.

Anoka reassured Deltans that the Governor’s administration will continue to focus on policies that promote sustainable growth and development. He reiterated that the Governor remains committed to ensuring that all areas in the state benefit equally from the ongoing developmental strides.

“As we step into this new year, I want to assure all Deltans that our state is in good hands under the leadership of Governor Oborevwori. His vision for Delta State remains focused on making the state a model of progress, unity, and prosperity”.

He further urged Deltans to remain united and to continue supporting the Governor’s vision for the state. He noted that the collective efforts of the government and the people are necessary to achieve the goals set for 2025 and beyond.

Anoka extended his warmest wishes to all Deltans for a prosperous, joyful, and successful New Year. He encouraged everyone to stay hopeful and work together for the continued growth and prosperity of Delta State, confident that 2025 will be a year of even greater accomplishments.
