Kogi Gov Usman Ododo
The Kogi State Government has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hon. Enema Paul, a distinguished legislator and public servant, who passed away earlier today following a prolonged illness.
Hon. Paul’s political journey was marked by dedication and service to the people of Kogi State. He was a former Commissioner for Rural Development, a former Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, and a sitting member of the Assembly at the time of his passing.
In a condolence message, His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, described the loss as a heavy blow to the late legislator’s family and Dekina Local Government Area and the entire state.
“Our hearts go out to his immediate and extended family, the people of Dekina LGA, and all those touched by his life of service,” Governor Ododo said. “We stand united in grief and will provide support to his family during this difficult time.”
The Governor praised Hon. Paul’s legacy as a detribalized leader who championed the values of hard work, unity, and progress for Kogi State.
The Honourable Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, conveyed the government’s prayers for the eternal repose of Hon. Paul’s soul and strength for his family to bear this immense loss.
Hon. Enema Paul’s unwavering commitment to the betterment of Kogi State will continue to inspire generations to come.
